All goods are supplied subject to the following general Terms of Hire.

- Goods at all times remain the property of Capital H Catering & Leisure Equipment Limited
- A minimum order value of £20 applies, excluding VAT and deposit
- A minimum £100 refundable deposit* applies to all orders
- Payment must be received before any goods are dispatched with exception to account customers who must meet the 30-day payment terms as stated on their invoice
- All prices stated are exclusive of VAT at the prevailing rate
- We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice
- We reserve the right to substitute articles of a similar quality
- Orders are only confirmed once an invoice has been issued to the customer
- New customers must provide two valid means of identification prior to placing an order
- Prices quoted are based on a 24-hour or weekend hire period, extended hire is available and subject to negotiation
- Additions to orders must be made no later than 24-hours prior to delivery and will be subject to availability
- Cancellations can be made and the following timeframes and the cancellation fees apply:
- Six weeks prior to delivery – no charge
- One month prior to delivery – a cancellation fee of 25% of the hire value will apply
- Two weeks prior to delivery – a cancellation fee of 50% of the hire value will apply
- Less than two weeks – a cancellation fee of 75% of the hire value will apply
- Delivery charges apply and will be quoted at time of order
- Additional charges may apply for deliveries made outside of standard delivery times (Monday – Friday 10am – 5pm)
- Parking and access restrictions at delivery/ collection address must be stated at time of order as standard delivery is to a ground floor entrance only
- The hirer must be present at time of delivery to check and sign for the goods and address any discrepancies
- The hirer is responsible for any loss or damage or theft to goods whilst in their possession and deliveries left unattended at any time are left at the hirers risk
- Whilst on hire, goods should be stored safely and securely and protected from bad weather
- We are not liable for any injury caused by use of goods and equipment hired
- Upon collection, tables, chairs and chair pads should be stacked safely. The hirer should remove any debris from crockery and glassware and place goods in their respective boxes. There will be a charge for containers not returned.
- A washing-up service charge of 20% will be applied to goods returned soiled with exception to linen as this cost is included in the hire charge
- Upon return, equipment will be checked and accounted for and any missing, broken or damaged equipment will be charged for at the replacement cost shown on the invoice. All or part of the deposit will be used towards loss and breakages
- Providing all goods are returned in the same condition and there are no missing or damaged items, deposits will be refunded via the original means of payment within two weeks of collection
